This is a short video piece shot during services at a Snake handling church in West Virginia. The music is a rocking hybrid of blues infused gospel. I spent 5 years documenting this subject throughout Appalachia for a series of paintings, photos, video and music.

It depends on which book of the Bible that you are reading. Paul and Peter say specifically at the beginning of the lessons that it is their judgments/beliefs and not God’s.
God condemns killing and that includes killing babies. Ephesians 20:13 (KJV) Thou shalt not kill.
As for rape: Jesus says in 1 Corinthians 6:18; Flee fornication. “Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”

well there is a couple of things,well actually a lot ,the first one is the bible condones slavery ,not to mention infanticide ,murder and rape ,i would love you to explain these points to me as ,the bible is the true word of god AMEN

its insane that people come to snark on and comment about low iq etc. what i see is real faith. so what if they arnt miss usa contestants. they have the beauty of god in them

I do NOT follow any faith but there is something funny about this all……
I have NEVER, EVER, not even ONE time seen an avowed atheist pick up venomous snakes and hold them close and dance around like this.
