No, things don’t magically become good by being offensive. Just like a kid shouting “penis penis whore pussy” isn’t funny and the Saw movies aren’t good.

Doing something offensive solely for the sake of being offensive is lazy writing and is quite frankly a cop-out. I’m not saying that offensive jokes are UNfunny- I mean just take a look at George Carlin- but you have to have substance as well.
