Is it possible to have a prom dress dyed?

I have this really pretty red prom dress I wore two years ago that I love, and if I go this year I don’t feel like shelling out a lot of money on a dress. It’s dark red. Is it possible to bring it somewhere and have it bleached/redyed? Where would I go and how much am I looking at? Thanks!

Don’t do it, you will have about a 90% chance at ruining the dress.

I would say yes only if it’s made of natural fibers. It’s extremely difficult to dye synthetic fabrics.
