How to get a stain out of a dry clean only polyester prom dress?

prom dress
…. asked:

My sister accidentally smudged white chocolate on my red prom dress. it says its 100 % polyester and dry clean only. I don’t have enough time to go to the dry cleaners so any suggestions?

You could try blotting it with a white cotton cloth and either clear water or club soda. Good luck!

baking soda paste with a toothbrush….try it first on a spot under the hem to make sure it does not ruin the color…brush the spot with the paste and wipe off with a warm washcloth…you could even try toothpaste in the same way…good luck.

Its april 26th…It’s also a sunday. Drycleaning does not take long at all. What school do you go to that your prom is on a weekday, let alone april.

Just drop it off at a drycleaner

Dry cleaner definitely! its polyester , removing it yourself might mess it up rather than making it go away…

Or you can just buy a new one :-) ( Just an option though )

    Good Luck..
