Flower Child asked:

Yes, I’m already looking for my prom dress, hahah. I’m down to seven choices, (don’t laugh!) and they are all in the price range. What else can I do to narrow down the choices?
They’re all online, so I can’t try them on.
I have very pale skin, big thighs and toned calves

find the one that looks best on your figure. that’s what will make you stand out at the dance.

also, look for the ones that compliment your skin color.
for example, red, yellow, and orange will make you look more pale if you already are pale.

Okay, seven isn’t a bad number this early.
    Anyways.
Well, go for something that you really like and compliments your skin tone. And try to get other people’s opinions, those help a lot.
    Hope this helps! :)

I think it’s very smart of you to look for a dress now =)

    okay…..
toned arms and calves- (if you have muscular calves, go for a shorter length. my favorite type of dress to show of my muscle tone is the bubble dress)

wide shoulders- stay away from halter tops

big thighs- find a dress that hits right above the knee (about 1 to 2 inches and no more)

    large bust- ruffles on top

last, but not least….. find a dress you can dance in!!

PS if your petite (fun sized =] ) you don’t have to wear heels. highlight your cute size(one of your best features) with adorable flats. (flats are also the best type of shoe to dance in)
